ALERT - A bill has been proposed in the state goverment to ban any indoor use of electronic cigarette's (this is not the first time a negative bill towards ecigs has been proposed, in April 2010 a attempt of a total ban was proposed). Allowing this bill go forward and possibly be passed will likely open the door for the people of Maryland to additional restrictions which could include the banning of electronic cigarettes all together. Close Call in April 2010 - A bill was introduced to ban electronic cigarettes. This bill eventually died in committee. This was the direct result of all of the ecig users placing phone calls and getting there voice heard. For now you are free to buy and use an electronic cigarette in the state.
